Colin Gilbert serves as the current editor of Lamplighter Review and ranked 9th at the 2008 Individual World Poetry Slam Championship. He won the 2006 Chicago State University Hughes, Jiop, Knight Literary Award, and his poems have appeared or are forthcoming in CC & D, Oak Bend Review, Minglewood, Danse Macabre, and Plain Spoke. His first full-length manuscript, The Mattress Parlor, with be released in January. It will be available on Myspace, Facebook, and his website, www.freecolin.net.
